The design process requires an endless pathway to imagination, creativity, and
conceptualization. These integral aspects are the foundation of our mission to be a company that not only builds buildings, but designs them as well.

It all starts with deciding what to build, along with the functions, requirements, needs, and desires of who you are building for. We need to know our clients’ goals and expectations in order to achieve excellence in the proper design for their needs.

D.A. George and Sons Construction and Development’s conceptual design process takes the surrounding buildings and the look and the feel of the community into consideration in order to have the new structure fit its existing surroundings. Once this conceptual design is agreed upon the preliminary design process begins. During this process we will decide on a super structure, sizing of structural elements, space planning for living areas, common areas, stairwells, and elevator shafts, etc.

When the preliminary design is finished we’re ready to go into the bid document process and the permit document process.
Bid documents will have all the required specs, schedules, details, and sections for the logistics of construction and to protect the owner during the construction process.

D.A. George and Sons Construction has a strong design team consisting of architects, engineers, draftsman, and the owner, David George.

Mr. George specializes in conceptual design and brings a lot of experience with value engineering. Value engineering is the evaluation of the buildings budget related to the projects functional objectives, which helps a building be build logistically quicker and for a lower budget. Our architects are SKJN Architekten Corporation and our engineers are Hercules Contractors and Engineers Corporation.
